In the Beginning

But it still a blow to the ego to know that he was fucking another girl when lord knows I could've been sleeping with other guys on the side! But I thought I'd be faithful for once in a relationship. I guess karma is a bitch, huh?
As I watched him out the window walk to his car and drive off, I walked to the kitchen and began to do what I do best. I took out a shot glass and went to reach for my bottle of jim bean only to find the bottle only had maybe 3 shots left in it. "Well this isn't gonna last me all night!" I grabbed my car keys and purse and headed to the liquor store.
As I was walking through the isles deciding on which bottle of liquor to get, I felt someone grab my waist. I spun around only to see my friend Josh with a big goofy grin on his face.
"What's goin on sexy? I thought you you had a hot date tonight with Mr. No Balls?" Josh said scrunching his face up.
So I told him the story about how "Mr. No Balls" was seeing another girl on the side.
"That fuckin punk! Did he have no idea how good he had it with you?"
"Yeah well, I guess not but whats done is done I guess" trying to make myself believe my own words.
"So why are you buying all these bottles of liquor if your special date is ruined" Josh asked me.
"Well, I wanted to feel sorry for myself so I wanted to drink myself stupid"
"Ya know, drinking yourself stupid is never fun alone. Why don't you give me a call in about 20 minutes if you feel like company?" And with that, Josh left the store.
Josh and I always had some sexual tension between us, but we never really acted upon it. I always was willing to jump his bones, but I'm not the kinda girl that starts something like that up. Unless I'm drunk. There was a time a while ago after leaving our favorite bar we were so close to hooking up. I was way too intoxicated to drive so he took me home. We were sitting in my driveway when we just started making out. I had his shirt unbutton and his hand was about to go under my skirt. Then just my luck, Tim, Josh's best friend decided, to call my cell phone. Not only was that a turn off, it made Josh realize that although he's been wanting to fuck me for quite some time, he can't do that to his friend since Tim as liked me for quite some time now.
Now things has change. I'm single, Josh is single, and Tim is engaged. So I think it's safe to say it is legal for us to hook up. But do I really wanna start things up with someone I knew for the longest time right after a got out of a relationship?

When I got inside my house I picked up the phone and dialed. "So you still offering to get sloppy drunk with me tonight?"
